If there is talk between the two, then Shekhawati can shine on tourism map all over the country. Actually, the state government has sent a proposal of 90 crores for the Shekhawati tourism circuit to the central government. But even after months, these proposals have not got the green signal.
These proposals range from the conservation of Havelis to proposals for ropeways on Mount Harsha. Recently, Minister of State for Education and Tourism Govind Singh Dotasara claimed to have sent these proposals to the Central Government. This file is now in the court of the Central Government. Experts associated with the tourism sector say that due to Corona, many schemes may have budget cuts.
How to understand the proposals of tourism circuit
1. Religious Tourism:
The temples of Salasar, Khatushyamji, Jeenbhavani, Shakambhari and Harsha are in Shekhawati. There is a lot of potential for religious tourism here. But the road network is still quite poor. As such, proposals to strengthen the road network of all these religious places have been included in it.
2. Mansion Protection:
Havelis’ patting is unmatched in Shekhawati. People of the country and the world are coming to see these havelis. As such, proposals for the protection of havelis have been included in it.
3. Air taxi service:
The Ministry of Tourism had earlier claimed to have started air taxis service in Shekhawati. The tourism circuit proposes an expansion of the runway for air taxicab service. At the same time, special bus service has been claimed from the capital Jaipur.
4. Promote film shooting:
There has been a lot of craze for shooting of films in Shekhawati. It is also proposed to introduce an online registration system to further entice the filmmakers towards the site here.
